Welcome to the Menlo
Charity Horse Show |
|
Since 1970, Menlo has been home to top show jumping and horse showing
in Northern California! Menlo was named Nor Cal Horse show of the
year in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 and in 2007, Menlo was
named the second best show in the country by Phelps Equestrian Sports
Network. Come visit Menlo at the beautiful
grounds of the Menlo Circus Club.
Action
begins at 7:00 AM each show day with classes running simultaneously in
three separate rings until approximately 5:00 PM. Come for an hour or a
whole day and see competition ranging from ponies ridden by tomorrow's
champions atop to some of the world's finest horses and top riders. |

Hunters and Jumpers....
At Menlo we have one Jumper
ring and two hunter rings.
The hunter ring is
where you see the beauty and elegant tradition of riding. From the
days of fox hunting, hunters are judged on the manners and style of the
competitor.
The Jumper ring is all
about power and speed where
our equine athletes compete over obstacles as big as 5'6" in height
and as much as four feet wide. The Olympic sport of Grandprix Show Jumping
is something you will not want to miss. |

|
|
There is a lot to do at
Menlo. With three rings continuously going, there are lots of horses
and "rounds" to watch. But need to get away for a few, we have
wonderful food in the Circus Club and outside on the grounds. Shopping enthusiasts, be prepared for some great boutiques offering equine
apparel, horse care products, home furnishings, fine jewelry, the Shows'
commemorative T-shirts and sportswear and much more.
